The number of first prizes in subjects increased; in particular, one student was the valedictorian in English.
"This excellent result is achieved first of all thanks to the efforts of the students, the dedication of the teachers, the care of the families, and the support of the school and friends. This is also a testament to the effective leadership and direction of the City Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City in the education sector, creating motivation to continue promoting key education, helping gifted students maximize their abilities, contributing to nurturing talents for the homeland and the country," Ms. Thuy emphasized.
The Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee also said that after the merger, the city's scale expanded, the number of students increased, but the number of specialized schools was still not many.
Therefore, the Education sector needs to pay attention to and advise on building and developing more schools to become specialized schools of the city; at the same time, research and propose the establishment of specialized schools for cultural and artistic talents.
