The coastal route through Nghe An province connecting Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) to Cua Lo (Nghe An) has an actual length of about 60km. The project was implemented from February 2022 with a total investment of more than VND 4,650 billion. Of which, the construction cost is more than VND 3,200 billion, the site clearance cost is more than VND 930 billion, the contingency cost and other costs are more than VND 515 billion. |

The project is a level III plain road. The entire route has 8 bridges, including 5 large bridges: Lach Van, Cua Thoi, Lach Quen, Nghi Quang, Hoang Mai and 3 small bridges: Tan Long, Nha Le canal, Nghi Tan. |

This is considered a key project in Nghe An province, contributing to the completion of the transport network of the whole province in particular and the coastal road transport system of the whole country in general. The project conveniently connects key economic zones of the region from Thanh Hoa to Nghe An; creating a premise for the strong development of the economic - social - tourism sectors of Nghe An province, especially the central area of Vinh city and Cua Lo, meeting and directly solving the travel and movement needs of people in the region. |

Deployed since February 2022, the project capital plan has so far been allocated more than 4,037 billion VND, of which nearly 436 billion VND has been allocated in 2025. Currently, more than 3,630 billion VND has been disbursed, reaching nearly 90%, of which only more than 30 billion VND has been disbursed in 2025, reaching more than 7%. |

In recent times, contractors have made efforts to concentrate human resources and equipment to implement the construction. Up to now, the project implementation value has reached about 90%. |

However, due to difficulties in site clearance and weather conditions, some items and sections of the route have not been completed on schedule. There are still 0.3 km of the entire route that have not been cleared. There are still problems with households in Hoang Mai Town, Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, and Nghi Loc districts. |

On many sections of the route, lighting systems have been completed and installed, allowing vehicles to circulate. |

The 755m long Lach Van Bridge across the river mouth connecting Dien Kim commune with Dien Thanh town (Dien Chau district, Nghe An) has been completed and allows traffic to pass through. |

During the recent inspection of the entire route, Mr. Hoang Phu Hien - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee - requested that localities need to focus on synchronously implementing plans and solutions to thoroughly resolve difficulties and obstacles to speed up site clearance progress, in order to completely hand over to the project contractor. |

The Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee requested the project management board to review the construction sites, especially the intersections with inter-district and inter-commune roads; promptly complete the system of markers, signs... to ensure traffic safety, and prevent unfortunate traffic incidents when the project has not been handed over for use. |
