The productivity and output of some main crops all exceeded and met the set plan.

In this year's winter-spring crop, Tuyen Hoa district planted over 1,438 hectares of rice, reaching 100.8% of the plan. Up to this point, the rice area has basically been harvested. According to statistics, the rice yield of the whole district reached 57.43 quintals/ha, reaching 104.4% of the plan; the estimated output reached 8,259 tons, reaching 105% of the plan.

Corn area reached 1,242 hectares, yield reached 68.66 quintals/ha, reaching 122.6% of the plan; estimated output reached 8,528 tons, reaching 152.4% of the plan. Peanut area reached 347/ha, yield reached 30.36 quintals/ha, reaching 121.4% of the plan; estimated output reached 1,053 tons, reaching 64.6% of the plan.

Organic rice production model of QS88, QC03 varieties with an area of ​​63 hectares, yield of 58 quintals/ha, output of nearly 368 tons.

According to Mr. Pham Anh Minh, to achieve the above results, local authorities at all levels have focused on directing and effectively implementing mechanisms and policies to encourage agricultural development, focusing on repairing damaged and degraded irrigation works..., thanks to which, farmers can feel secure in production.

Immediately after harvesting winter-spring crops, the People's Committee of Tuyen Hoa district focused on directing farmers to prepare seedlings, fertilizers, repair irrigation works, dredge canals, schedule crops, use appropriate water sources for production... to prepare for summer-autumn crop production.
