Propaganda of new points of the Law on Social Insurance and Health Insurance

200 employers in Hai Duong City have been informed and disseminated about the new points of the 2024 Social Insurance Law and the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Health Insurance Law.

Deputy Director of Hai Duong Provincial Social Insurance Vu Duc Khien delivered the opening speech at the conference.

On May 9, Hai Duong Provincial Social Insurance organized a dissemination of new points of the 2024 Social Insurance Law and the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Health Insurance Law for leaders, accountants, and personnel in charge of social insurance work of 200 employers in Hai Duong City.

At the conference, the provincial Social Insurance officers informed and disseminated new points and changes in social insurance and health insurance policies of the 2024 Social Insurance Law, the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Health Insurance Law and related guiding documents.

The conference was attended by representatives of 200 employers in Hai Duong City.

The Law on Social Insurance 2024 with new points related to subjects participating in social insurance, health insurance, responsibility for payment, method, payment period, responsibility for making a list of social insurance and health insurance payment; supplementing regulations on late payment, evasion of payment of social insurance and health insurance and handling measures.

New points related to social insurance regimes include sickness, maternity, retirement, one-time social insurance, maternity for voluntary social insurance participants, monthly allowances for employees who are not eligible for pension and are not old enough to receive social retirement benefits...

New points of the Social Insurance Law 2024 contribute to building a multi-layered and flexible social insurance system; expanding the subjects participating in social insurance; supplementing benefits for participants; encouraging employees to reserve their contribution period to receive pensions instead of receiving social insurance at a one-time payment...
