Propaganda on clean water and environmental sanitation in rural areas

The Center for Agricultural Extension and Rural Clean Water implements a communication plan to the people in localities in the province about clean water and rural environmental sanitation issues.

Implementation content includes: Meeting with people to communicate about the harmful effects of water pollution, using untreated water, the relationship between clean water and health, how to use water economically and effectively, and the issue of protecting upstream forests and protecting domestic water supply works (organized in 8 communes in the province during April - May 2025); organizing propaganda for the National Clean Water and Environmental Sanitation Week (implemented by propaganda vehicles with loudspeakers broadcasting propaganda content in 9 districts, towns and cities during the period from April 29 to May 6, 2025).

At the propaganda sessions, the staff of the Center for Agricultural Extension and Rural Clean Water emphasized a number of measures to protect water resources such as: Do not litter in public places, build a system to treat domestic wastewater before discharging it into the public sewer system; collect domestic waste in the right place; use clean water economically, do not waste clean water; check and maintain water supply works such as water pipes or water tanks to prevent water loss.

Propaganda work on domestic water pollution and rural environmental protection aims to raise people's awareness, contribute to changing behavior in daily life, using water resources, protecting water resources; participate in protecting works and the living environment of residential areas. Effective communication work will contribute to reducing diseases, stabilizing and developing the economy , improving the quality of life and changing the face of rural residents.
