Ben Cat Town: Early completion of Summer Sports Festival for students

As part of the program to organize summer activities in 2023 for students, recently, the Center for Culture, Sports and Broadcasting of Ben Cat Town in collaboration with the Departmentof Education and Training, Ben Cat Town Youth Union successfully organized a Summer Sports Festival for local students.

Ben Cat Town is doing a great job with summer activities for local students.

Accordingly, the 2023 Summer Sports Festival of Ben Cat Town attracted more than 1,000 students of both youth and children to compete. Taking place over 3 days (from May 30 to June 2), the sports festival is a useful playground for students in the early days of summer 2023. There, there are no more worries about homework for a new day, but instead, students are free to express their sports talents with two sports: mini soccer and swimming.

If football is the “King” sport, chosen by many male and female students to practice and compete regularly, swimming is completely different. Before entering the competition, nearly 200 young swimmers must undergo a level 1 swimming training course with the necessary skills before they can go into the water alone. Because this is a popular sport in the summer, helping students comfortably immerse themselves in the blue water on hot summer days, the people in charge of swimming at the Ben Cat City Culture, Sports and Broadcasting Center are very interested in the students’ skills before going into the water.

Although it only took place for 3 days, it can be said that the Ben Cat Town Summer Sports Festival has become a useful playground for students right from the first days of summer 2023. Not only confidently showing their talents, talented students have also helped bring achievements to their schools. In particular, strong units such as Tran Quoc Tuan Primary School, An Tay B or Thoi Hoa and My Thanh Secondary Schools have all achieved high results in football and swimming. This will also be a premise for the sports and education sectors of Ben Cat Town to select quality athletes, ready to participate in provincial tournaments in 2023.

In addition to the sports activities in early summer 2023, in the coming time, painting and art competitions for students will continue to be organized by units of Ben Cat Town. These are all useful sports activities for students after a year of hard study at school.
