The Steering Committee for the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Tinh Bien town hands over houses to policy families in the area.
Each house is a motivation for policy families to continue promoting patriotism and actively building their homeland Tinh Bien.
Each house has a structure of walls, corrugated iron roof, and tiled floor, and is supported with 60 million VND, according to Decision 21/2024/QD-TTg on the level of support for new construction or renovation and repair of houses for people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs. Thereby, contributing to the implementation of the Party and State's policies on caring for the spiritual and material life of policy beneficiaries, especially at a time when the whole country is looking forward to the 50th anniversary of the total victory, so that the country can be reunited.
In the first phase of 2025, the Steering Committee of Tinh Bien Town started construction of 77 houses according to Decision No. 04-QD/BCĐ of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee, expected to be completed in May 2025. Currently, the locality is reviewing and submitting to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval of the second phase with about 92 houses, expected to be completed in June 2025.
To complete the set goals, the Steering Committee of Tinh Bien Town requires sectors and localities to continue to direct, urge, monitor, regularly inspect and supervise the implementation of the policy to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses to ensure timely and effective implementation.
