(Dan Tri) - The competition for admission to grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School, Ho Chi Minh City continues to be "hot" with nearly 14 candidates competing for 1 spot.

According to the latest information, the 6th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year of Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School recorded 4,851 registered candidates, while the enrollment target remains at 350 students.

With this figure, the competition rate for grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia School this year has increased to 1/13.86 (rounded to 1/14). This shows the fierce competition to get a place at this prestigious school.

Compared to the previous school year, the 2024-2025 school year, Tran Dai Nghia School also has a very high competition rate. At that time, there were 4,301 students registered for admission out of a total of 350 quotas, corresponding to a competition rate of 1/12. Thus, it can be seen that the heat of this year's admission is even higher than last year.

The admission subjects are students who have completed primary school in Ho Chi Minh City and have a score of 9 or higher in the final exam of each subject of Vietnamese and math in grade 5.

On June 16, students will take a 90-minute test consisting of two parts. The multiple-choice test has 20 multiple-choice questions and will take 30 minutes to complete.

The 60-minute essay section includes knowledge to test English proficiency (listening, reading, writing), math and logical thinking, reading comprehension and writing skills.
