It is known that wild animals are received at the center mainly through voluntary handover by local people. After being received, the wild animals are initially checked for health status, isolated, monitored and cared for according to professional procedures, to ensure the best recovery conditions before being able to be released into the wild or cared for long-term.

In parallel with wildlife rescue work, the center has coordinated with relevant organizations to conduct periodic health checks for 7 Indochinese tigers and a number of wildlife species being rescued at the center. The checks include: General health assessment; sample collection; ultrasound, endoscopy and periodic vaccination to prevent disease and improve animal health.

In addition, the Center for Rescue, Conservation and Development of Organisms has sown and potted 400 Hue Moc seedlings; organized the re-release of 12 qualified orchid pots of the species Thuy Tien Huong into the natural environment, on tree trunks in the campus to create a highlight for the Botanical Garden tourist site; received 32kg of orchids from the authorities for rescue.
