UEFA causes controversy, giving PSG 2/3 of the Champions League's best squad

Alongside Donnarumma are three teammates in defence, including Mendes on the left wing, Hakimi on the right wing and Marquinhos in the centre-back position. Mendes and Marquinhos are both in the top of the league in terms of defensive stats such as tackles, clearances and ball recoveries, while Hakimi has become the defender with the most goal involvements in the history of a Champions League season (9 goals).

In the two attacking positions on the wings, UEFA chose Raphinha and Yamal. These are two worthy choices because Raphinha had an excellent campaign. He scored 13 goals, leading the race for the Golden Boot with Guirassy. In terms of assist ability, Raphinha is also number 1 (9 assists). On the opposite side, Yamal also had an explosive campaign with 5 goals and 3 assists.

The forward line has been dominated by PSG, with both players chosen for this position coming from the defending champions. Dembele has had an excellent season, contributing 8 goals and 5 assists. He is behind many other strikers such as Lewandowski, Kane or Lautaro Martinez but still makes the list.

Meanwhile, Doue became the new discovery of the tournament with 5 goals and 5 assists for his teammates. But surprisingly, UEFA removed Dortmund's Guirassy, the striker who won the Golden Boot award with Raphinha. Guirassy contributed 13 goals and 4 assists, much more impressive than Doue.
