Policy credit loan trust reaches 977 billion VND

(VLO) According to the report of the Social Policy Bank, Vinh Long province branch, in the past 9 months, the results of implementing policy credit programs through entrustment with 4 mass organizations: Farmers' Association, Women's Union, Veterans' Association, Youth Union, had a loan turnover of 977 billion VND, with 24,794 households borrowing.

Loan capital focuses mainly on programs: supporting job creation, maintaining and expanding employment; clean water and rural environmental sanitation; newly escaped poverty households; near-poor households;...

Of which, the loan turnover through the Women's Union is 406 billion VND; Farmers' Association 331 billion VND; Veterans' Association 150 billion VND and Youth Union 90 billion VND.

According to the Provincial Social Policy Bank, to date, the total outstanding loan balance entrusted through associations and unions has reached VND3,947 billion (accounting for 99% of the total outstanding loan balance), with 101,647 customers still in debt. The average loan amount is VND38.8 million/household.

The province has 2,148 savings and loan groups through 4 entrusted associations. In addition to outstanding loan growth, the quality of policy credit is always of concern to all parties.
