Standing Member of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ngo Le Van received the delegation of the Communist Party of Brazil (PCdoB)

On the morning of September 1, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Comrade Ngo Le Van, member of the Party Standing Committee, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Comrade Pedro Olveira, member of the International Committee of the Communist Party of Brazil (PCdoB), General Secretary of the Brazil-Vietnam Friendship Association, who came to attend the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam's National Day.

Comrade Ngo Le Van, member of the Party Standing Committee, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs , received Comrade Pedro Olveira, member of the International Committee of the Communist Party of Brazil (PCdoB), General Secretary of the Brazil-Vietnam Friendship Association, who came to attend the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam's National Day.

At the reception, comrade Ngo Le Van respectfully conveyed the greetings of the leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam to the leaders of the PCdoB, thanking the PCdoB and the Brazilian people for always supporting the Communist Party and people of Vietnam in the past struggle for national independence and reunification and the current cause of national renewal and construction.

Comrade Ngo Le Van highly appreciated the PCdoB sending representatives to celebrate with the Party, State and people of Vietnam in this important event of the nation, considering this a source of encouragement for the Communist Party and people of Vietnam. Sharing the two strategic goals of Vietnam until 2030 and 2045, Comrade Ngo Le Van informed about the efforts to achieve these goals such as streamlining the apparatus, promoting 8% growth this year and double digits in the following years, ensuring sustainable development and leaving no one behind; continuing to implement an independent, autonomous, multilateral and diversified foreign policy.

Regarding the Vietnam-Brazil relationship, Comrade Ngo Le Van expressed his joy at the recent developments in the relationship between the two parties and the two countries, and suggested that the two parties continue to strengthen the exchange of theories and information on the situation of the two countries and the two regions, and strengthen coordination at multilateral political forums; at the same time, make practical contributions to the implementation of the content of the new strategic partnership framework, especially in the fields of science and technology, innovation, sustainable development, climate change response, and continue to promote the launch of negotiations on the Vietnam-South American Common Market (MERCOSUR) Free Trade Agreement.

At the reception, comrade Ngo Le Van highly appreciated the PCdoB sending representatives to celebrate with the Party, State and people of Vietnam in this important national event, considering this a source of encouragement for the Communist Party and people of Vietnam.

Comrade Pedro Olveira highly appreciated the significance of Vietnam's independence (in 1945) for the national liberation movement in Asia as well as in the Latin American region, and expressed his joy and honor to represent PCdoB to participate in the special important Anniversary of the Party, State and people of Vietnam.

Comrade Pedro Olveira respectfully conveyed the greetings and regards of the President of the PCdoB to General Secretary To Lam , the leaders of the Party, State and people of Vietnam, highly appreciating the development of the relationship between the two parties and the two countries in recent times, including the visit to Vietnam by the President of the PCdoB in November 2023; at the same time, he expressed his agreement with the proposals of the Communist Party of Vietnam, affirmed the commitment of the Party and himself to continue to make efforts to strengthen the relationship between the two parties and the two countries to develop more substantially and effectively, actively support and promote negotiations on the MERCOSUR and Vietnam Free Trade Agreement in the coming time.
