Along with that is the work of ensuring traffic safety, fire prevention, crime prevention; the task of combating illegal fishing; activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Thuan province (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025), the liberation of the South, and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

At the conference, the Department of Home Affairs provided information on the implementation of Resolution 76 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of administrative units in 2025 and the construction of a two-level local government organization. Accordingly, the people in the province highly agreed on the policy of merging localities and ending the operation of district-level governments according to the Central Government's direction. Up to this point, the naming of 45 planned administrative units and the selection of commune-level administrative centers (including 1 special zone) has been carried out by the province in accordance with tradition and history, meeting the sentiments and aspirations of the people. The names of the province and district-level localities are also retained to name new wards and communes.
