Van Don organizes the 3rd Voluntary Blood Donation Festival in 2025

On the morning of June 7, in Van Don district, the District Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation organized the 3rd Voluntary Blood Donation Festival in 2025, responding to the campaign "Red Summer Blood Drops" and the program "Red Journey" in 2025.

Many youth union members and Red Cross volunteers of Van Don district donated blood at the 3rd Voluntary Blood Donation Festival in 2025.

With the message "Every drop of blood given - A life remains", the program attracted the participation of over 200 people, including cadres, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, youth union members, Red Cross volunteers and many people in the district.

As a result, the Organizing Committee received 191 units of blood. This amount of blood will be added to the blood bank at the Provincial General Hospital, serving emergency and treatment work during the summer.

According to the 2025 plan, Van Don district will organize 4 voluntary blood donation campaigns, striving to attract about 1,100 people to register and receive 800 units of blood. Up to now, through 3 campaigns, the whole district has received 618 units of blood, reaching 77.5% of the year's target. The remaining blood donation campaign is expected to be held in October 2025.
