Mr. Tran Van Dat, Director of the Department of Political Education and Student Affairs, Ministry of Education and Training, said: Building a culture of behavior in schools and organizing cultural and artistic activities are core values to create a healthy school environment.
These activities not only absorb regional cultural values and the quintessence of human culture but also improve spiritual life, the ability to appreciate culture and art, and at the same time become a driving force to develop personality, morality, intelligence and a good lifestyle for teachers and students; thereby contributing to improving the quality of comprehensiveeducation , meeting the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training.
Recognizing the importance of this issue, in recent times, the Ministry of Education and Training has issued and directed the implementation of Circular No. 26/2017/TT-BGDDT and Circular No. 06/2019/TT-BGDDT to contribute to educating ethics, lifestyle, cultural values and ethical standards; forming good habits and awareness to improve the personality of students; creating conditions for students to exchange, learn, and absorb cultural values of regions and the quintessence of human culture; thereby contributing to adjusting deviant behaviors and lack of cultural standards of all members in educational institutions; preventing acts of violence, social evils, and behaviors contrary to Vietnamese customs and cultural traditions...
From the perspective of teacher training institution management, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Son, Rector of Hanoi National University of Education, mentioned the key role of developing and implementing the Code of Conduct in educational institutions. According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Son, as the head of a teacher training institution, the responsibility does not stop at implementing regulations but also at orienting and fostering awareness and capacity to practice cultural conduct for future teachers. The Rector of Hanoi National University of Education also emphasized that the success of implementing the Code of Conduct depends not only on the content of the regulations but also on the spirit, attitude and responsibility of each individual in the school, from managers, lecturers to pedagogical students. This will contribute to building a civilized and friendly school environment and is a premise for pedagogical students to apply in teaching practice later.
A representative of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education said that building a cultural environment and cultural behavior in schools is an important foundation for educating students in ethics and lifestyle. Cultural behavior is not only a set of rules and regulations but also helps shape personality, sense of responsibility and respectful attitude in the school community. To achieve this goal, educational institutions need to create a friendly and healthy learning environment and integrate cultural behavior education into the training program, through extracurricular and formal activities, helping students develop communication skills and solidarity.
Representatives of the Central Pedagogical College also shared the current situation and lessons learned in organizing cultural and artistic activities for students. These activities have contributed to improving spiritual life, educating cultural values and life skills. Therefore, integrating cultural content into teaching and extracurricular activities is a key factor in building a healthy and unique school environment, especially in the context of deep integration today.
