On the afternoon of May 26, a delegation of artists led by Architect Nguyen Truong Luu - Chairman of the Union of Literature and Arts Associations (VH-NT) of Ho Chi Minh City - arrived in Ho Chi Minh City, ending 4 days of working, exchanging and discussing with more than 30 artists from 9 specialized associations of the Union.

Attending the workshop "The value of culture and art of Hanoi , Hue, Ho Chi Minh City in the flow of Vietnamese culture and art", artists from Ho Chi Minh City commented that with the impacts of innovation, globalization, the 4.0 technology revolution and the COVID-19 pandemic, the construction and development of literature and art in the new period needs to be improved.

The trip gave artists in Ho Chi Minh City a lot of material to create for the fields of culture and arts, including cinema, theater, music, dance, etc. They aimed for works of good quality, with ideological and artistic value, promoting the flow of cultural and artistic exchange between the three major cities.

Artist Bich Ngoc (Ho Chi Minh City Cinema Association) believes that similar art playgrounds are needed for artists from Hanoi, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City to regularly discuss, exhibit, and perform together. Thanks to that, the inseparable connection between artists from the three cultural centers will have a positive impact on the cultural and artistic life of the whole country.

Meanwhile, Meritorious Artist Trinh Kim Chi shared that with this trip, artists of various genres of drama, cheo, cai luong, ca troi and physical drama will strive to create new works to bring many new works to the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Theater Festival in 2024, jointly organized by the Department of Culture - Sports of Ho Chi Minh City and the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association. In particular, the materials found from the trip will help artists create, bringing the public a deeper and more comprehensive view from many perspectives on work and life through each work.
