Van Ninh: Assigning targets for selecting and calling citizens to join the army in 2024

On the afternoon of January 3, the Military Service Council of Van Ninh district held a conference to assign recruitment targets and call citizens to join the army in 2024 to communes and towns in the district.

Through the implementation of the steps of selecting and calling citizens to join the army in 2024, the District Military Service Council has issued an order to call 968 male citizens to the examination yard and 309 young men passed the exam. This year, the district was assigned by the province to select and call 289 young men to join the army, of which 44 young men performed their duty to join the People's Public Security and were assigned to 5 military receiving agencies including: the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Border Guard Command, the 2nd Infantry Division (Military Region 5), the 572nd Artillery Brigade (Military Region 5) and the Provincial Public Security.

At the conference, the District Military Service Council requested that in the coming time, localities, agencies and units focus on promoting the propaganda of the Law on Military Service; deploying the work of issuing orders in communes and towns in accordance with regulations; effectively implementing the work of managing recruited youth, the work of military rear policies for youth and their families; effectively implementing the work of coordinating the organization of solemn, proper and safe military handover ceremonies...
