Young midfielder Le Van Thuan (Dong A Thanh Hoa ) was called up to the Vietnam U22 team for the first time and expressed that he will try and make efforts to get a position to play in the upcoming Southeast Asian U23.
Talking about being a student of coach Kim Sang Sik in the future, Van Thuan expressed his excitement and confidence: "I often watch the Vietnamese team compete so I know a little about coach Kim's tactics. If I have the opportunity to work with him, I will try to learn a lot and believe that I will do well."

Assessing his personal strengths, Van Thuan affirmed: “My strong point is my fighting spirit. What I need to improve is my physique, and I will try to show my technique and mindset in each match.”
The young midfielder from Thanh Hoa affirmed that he will bring the fighting spirit of coach Popov and coach Tomislav when he plays. That is the spirit of dedication and never giving up.

Van Thuan believes that he has many generations before him to learn from, such as his senior at Thanh Hoa Club, Doan Ngoc Tan. "Mr. Tan is someone I always learn from, he always wholeheartedly instructs and encourages the young players in the team," Van Thuan shared.
Le Van Thuan is a typical product of Thanh Hoa football training center. He played outstandingly in the National U21 tournament, was promoted to the first team and participated in V.League this season. This is the first time he has participated in the Vietnam U22 team.
Currently, the Vietnam U22 team continues to maintain its training pace at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center, actively preparing for the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship, while also aiming for the 2026 Asian U23 Qualifiers and the 33rd SEA Games. The hot climate has greatly affected the team's training process.
