Nguyen Tuong Vy's story is not simply a journey to conquer a beauty title, but also a journey full of determination and desire to live. Since the age of 6, Vy left Russia to return to Vietnam, carrying with her dreams and faith in a new future.

After graduating from the Banking Academy, the young girl has been working tirelessly in television, gradually building a name for herself in this field. But for Vy, success in her career is not the final destination.

Vy bravely stepped out of her comfort zone, faced a big challenge and participated in the Miss Sea and Island Vietnam pageant, where she was able to convey a positive and strong message of life. Not only beautiful in appearance, Tuong Vy also affirmed that a runner-up is not only beautiful, but also someone with ideals, courage and a passionate heart.

After achieving a high title in the first season (Top 5), she returned to her job as a weather editor at Vietnam National Television. However, during that time, Vy's heart was always haunted by an unfulfilled desire, which was the dream of entering the Top 3 in the Miss Sea and Island contest, where she had put all her heart. And when she realized that she had not yet fulfilled that dream, Vy decided to continue to rise up and rewrite her own story.

With her unwavering determination, Tuong Vy excellently won the 2nd Runner-up position, at the same time bringing a strong message of resilience and aspiration to protect the environment with the project "Nuoi Cay - My Garden on the Sea".

Not only stopping at beauty and talent, Tuong Vy is also a person with a great heart and aspiration for the community. In the Miss Sea and Island Vietnam 2025 contest, Vy brought a special community project called "Nuoi Troi - My Garden on the Sea". This is not just a simple project, but a long-term strategy to protect the environment, especially to protect Vietnam's seas.

Tuong Vy shared that her strategy does not stop at planting trees but also provides a way to connect people with nature. This project aims to green the seas and restore the mangrove ecosystem - which protects coastal areas, prevents erosion and preserves precious marine resources. Vy hopes that each individual can participate by "raising" a coastal tree with a contribution of only 10,000 - 20,000 VND/month, and in particular, each tree will be attached with a QR code so that the "raiser" can track the tree's growth through a phone application.

The project “Nuoi Troi - My Garden on the Sea” is not only the beginning of an environmental protection movement but also a call for everyone, from students to local people, to join hands. In the context of Vietnam’s mangrove forest area being seriously reduced, this is a concrete and practical action to protect the life of the marine ecosystem, a natural shield for sea areas facing environmental destruction.

According to statistics, Vietnam currently has only about 20 - 30% of the mangrove forest area compared to before 1945. Provinces such as Ca Mau, Bac Lieu , Nam Dinh ... have lost thousands of hectares of forest due to shrimp farming, sea encroachment, and illegal exploitation. The sea is "crying for help", and Vy wants to be one of the first to respond to that call for help with action.

Vy shared: “I want everyone to know that every individual, no matter how small, can contribute to the protection of nature, because change only starts with the smallest actions.” Vy’s project is a positive signal in environmental protection, and above all, it is a strong message to the community about the responsibility to protect nature, about preserving the sea and islands - the precious heritage of the country.
