Domestic gold continues to increase by 200,000 VND/tael

(GLO)- Domestic gold prices continued to increase by VND200,000/tael on August 28. This is the third consecutive increase since the beginning of the week, gold prices are still at a historical peak of VND128.2 million/tael.

This morning, Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the afternoon buying price of gold bars at 126.7 million VND, an increase of 900,000 VND compared to yesterday, the selling price is at 128.2 million VND/tael, an increase of 200,000 VND.

Enterprises SJC, PNJ, DOJI listed at the same level of 126.7-128.2 million VND/tael, increasing by 200,000 VND in both buying and selling directions.

The buying price at Mi Hong continues to increase beyond the 127 million VND mark, currently trading at 127.2 million VND/tael. Meanwhile, Phu Quy is maintaining a buying price 1 million VND lower than the average, currently purchasing at 125.7 million VND/tael.

The gold ring market also recorded fluctuations depending on the business. In which, Mi Hong is currently trading at 121.2-122.7 million VND/tael; SJC is currently listing the two-way buying-selling price at 120.1-122.6 million VND/tael. Bao Tin Minh Chau is buying at 120.2 million VND, selling at 123.2 million VND. SJC listed the two-way buying-selling price at 120.1-122.6 million VND/tael.

In the world gold market, the spot gold price today increased by about 9 USD/ounce compared to yesterday morning, listed around 3,399 USD/ounce (equivalent to 109.1 million VND/tael converted according to Vietcombank exchange rate, excluding taxes and fees).

World gold prices generally increased by 0.04% over the past 24 hours and by 2.56% over the past 30 days.
