Recently, according to a survey by Booking.com - a booking application with partners in over 220 countries and territories, Da Nang was the destination most searched and booked by Vietnamese tourists from June 15 to August 15.

The destinations chosen by many tourists after Da Nang for this year's summer vacation are Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Hoi An, Hanoi, Vung Tau, Phu Quoc, Ha Long and Quy Nhon.

Many travel agencies believe that Da Nang is attracting domestic tourists thanks to many attractive activities, especially the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2024 taking place from June 8 to July 13.

In addition, the series of events accompanying DIFF 2024 is also expected to be organized on a large scale, with rich and attractive content from exhibitions to art and cultural performances, spread across Da Nang.

The results of Booking.com’s survey also show that Vietnamese tourists’ summer travel trends have changed. Accordingly, Vietnamese tourists increasingly prefer destinations rich in cultural identity, interesting resorts and prefer more diverse travel experiences.

While solo travelers often prefer vacations in big cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, families with young children choose islands, destinations close to nature and beautiful scenery. Couples enjoy the quiet space of resorts.
