Ho Chi Minh City organizes the Southeast Asian U19 Women's Tournament for the first time

Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation (HFF) is ready for the first Southeast Asian U19 Women's Championship 2025 to be held in Ho Chi Minh City next June.

The 2025 Southeast Asian Women's U19 Championship will officially take place from June 9 to 18 in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of 8 teams including defending champions Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, Timor-Leste and host Vietnam.

HFF is trusted by the Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF) and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) to host.

This is also the first time a local football federation has hosted a regional tournament for women, marking an important step forward in the development of women's football in Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular.

The eight participating teams are divided into two groups, playing a round robin to select four teams to advance to the semi-finals. The draw ceremony to divide the groups and schedule the matches will take place at 10am tomorrow (May 9) and will be livestreamed on the HFF fanpage and HFF Media YouTube channel.

All matches of the tournament will be livestreamed on the HFF fanpage and YouTube. In addition, accompanying programs, professional analysis, behind-the-scenes team content and creative content will be broadcast on multiple platforms to reach a wide range of fans, especially young people.

HFF is committed to organizing the tournament with the highest quality in terms of expertise, communication and logistics, contributing to creating a vibrant, inspiring and strongly spreading love for women's football in Southeast Asia U19 Women's Championship.

The Vietnam U19 women's team will gather at Thanh Long Sports Center from May 12. At the 2023 Southeast Asian U19 Women's Championship in Indonesia, Thailand defeated Vietnam 2-1 in the final match.
