[Video] Shifting the development of the data economy in Vietnam

NDO - In the context of digital transformation, data is increasingly asserting its role as a strategic resource, creating momentum for economic growth. In Vietnam, the data economy is gradually taking shape, however, most of the data is still collected separately, lacking connections and not being exploited effectively.

To promote the data economy , Vietnam needs to focus on three pillars:

Improve legal and technical infrastructure; train high-quality human resources in the field of data analysis and management; promote data sharing in the digital ecosystem, especially from foreign platforms.

Along with that, protecting personal data and building a strict monitoring and sanctioning system are urgent requirements.
