[Video] Vietnamese primary school students are among the top in Southeast Asia in Math, Reading and Writing

NDO - According to the preliminary announcement from the Southeast Asia Primary School Learning Outcomes Assessment Program (SEA-PLM) 2024 cycle, Vietnamese primary school students continue to be in the leading group in all three areas of Mathematics, Reading and Writing, among 7 participating countries: Cambodia, East Timor, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Philippines and Vietnam.

This achievement follows the outstanding results of the 2019 cycle, when Vietnam participated in SEA-PLM for the first time and led all three subjects with scores far exceeding the regional average. SEA-PLM is held every 5 years, is a regional-scale assessment program on the quality of primaryeducation , with the coordination of many international organizations such as UNICEF, World Bank, AKCF...

Vietnam's surveys in the 2024 cycle were systematically organized at 152 primary education institutions nationwide.
