Tay Ninh Provincial People's Procuracy donated nearly 140 million VND to support people in storm and flood areas.

On October 8, the People's Procuracy of Tay Ninh province donated nearly 140 million VND to support people affected by storms and floods. This amount will be transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to be delivered to the beneficiaries.

The collective of cadres, civil servants and employees of the Provincial People's Procuracy donated nearly 140 million VND.

The recent storm No. 10 (Bualoi) caused severe damage to many provinces and cities in the Central and Northern regions. Heavy rains, floods, and landslides caused many casualties, hundreds of thousands of houses were damaged and roofs were blown off; properties and crops were swept away, and people's lives fell into difficulty and deprivation.

Promoting the spirit of "Mutual love and support", "The rich help the poor", Tay Ninh Provincial People's Procuracy organized a fundraising ceremony to support people in overcoming natural disasters and floods.

At the ceremony, Chief Prosecutor of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Procuracy Mai Van Linh called on all cadres, civil servants and employees in the unit to actively respond and contribute at least one day's salary or more depending on each person's conditions, to help people in the affected areas overcome difficulties soon.

As a result, the collective of cadres, civil servants and employees of the Provincial People's Procuracy raised nearly 140 million VND. The entire amount was transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province to promptly support the people of the provinces heavily affected by storm No. 10./.
