Phan Hien's medal was a huge investment of both time and money. During the year of preparation, Phan Hien often invited teachers from France to Vietnam or flew to France to study. A week before the tournament, all three flew to France to practice with the teacher before going to the US to compete.

The cost of this tour was much higher than expected due to the high prices in the US and many problems related to having to cancel and change flights at the last minute. Accompanying in the role of coach, Khanh Thi is not only a spiritual support but also worries about the food and living of her students. Because the cost of living in the US is too expensive, she goes to the market and cooks to save money.

Dancesport Grandmaster Khanh Thi is currently the Director of the Institute of Culture and Arts at the University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City (UEF), a position she was appointed to in 2023. In addition, she is still actively involved in coaching, serving as an international referee for dancesport competitions, organizing major tournaments such as the Vietnam Dancesport Festival 2025 with a budget of up to 8 billion VND, attracting thousands of athletes from many countries, and also holding the position of Vice President of the Electronic Entertainment Sports Association, contributing to promoting the development of this field in Vietnam.
