Viet Anh and Cu Thi Tra in "Nguyen Ngoi Duong Near and Far", said 'none of my female co-stars have ever failed'

The film Near and Far Roads is directed by Meritorious Artist Nguyen Mai Hien, with the participation of actors such as Minh Hoang, Tran Kien, Cu Thi Tra, Viet Hoang, Viet Anh, Vinh Xuong, Bich Thuy...

The film will air on VTV1 at 9pm every evening from Monday to Friday starting May 22, right after the film Missed Appointment with Green Day ends.

Viet Anh plays the role of a background character in Near and Far Roads

At the press conference to launch the film on the afternoon of May 10 in Hanoi , actor Viet Anh shared that in this upcoming film, he, or actors Van Xuong and Nguyet Hang, are not the main actors but will only be the background for the young actors. Viet Anh even admitted that he is the "ferryman" for the young actors.

Participating in the main roles of Near and Far Roads are four young actors who have never played a main role before: Minh Hoang (as Hung), Tran Kien (Bao), Cu Thi Tra (Dong), Viet Hoang (Dung).

Viet Anh said "it seems like in my previous life, I owed Nguyen Mai Hien" so when Hien asked him to take part in a role, he nodded.

Although Viet Anh was very busy at that time, he also had to refuse a main role in a TV series produced by VFC.

In Near and Far Roads , Viet Anh will play the role of director Vinh - a seemingly elegant and generous person but full of schemes, ready to destroy and hurt others.

Viet Anh revealed that for this role, he had to spend a month and a half learning saxophone. The audience will have the opportunity to hear the 8x actor play the trumpet for real in the film.

Viet Anh said more than 20 years ago, when he acted in Chay An , he was the same age as the young actors now. Naive, enthusiastic and fearless. He wanted to accompany and watch them grow up.

In this film, Viet Anh will co-star with Cu Thi Tra. "Cu Thi Tra will have a transformation in her role," Viet Anh said jokingly. Tra can be completely assured because "in terms of feng shui, all the female co-stars I have paired with have never failed."

Cu Thi Tra is an actress who specializes in playing the most hated third party and villain roles on the small screen at the moment, especially after the movie Us of 8 Years Later .

In the new film, she will play Dong - a fencer, who trains hard to compete in top tournaments and achieve results to please his father.

Cu Thi Tra said she spent several months learning fencing, getting familiar with different types of swords, fencing positions, and talking with fencing athletes to better understand the sport.

The sword fighting scenes in the movie are all real scenes, real people, no stunt doubles are used.

If in previous films, Cu Thi Tra appeared with a well-groomed, sexy, and seductive appearance, then in Near and Far Roads she went bare-faced.

Sharing with Tuoi Tre Online , Cu Thi Tra said, "The audience may see that Tra is not as beautiful as her previous roles, but for me, I still find this character beautiful. She is pure, gentle, mischievous, and cute."

Tra added that this role is "my effort and attempt to shed my old image to take on a completely different role, with more psychological depth."

The film Near and Far Roads revolves around the story of three childhood friends Hung (played by Minh Hoang), Dong, and Bao (Tran Kien). They are not the same age or have the same aspirations, but they share a sincere, simple, and pure friendship.

Life brings them to Vinh and Yen (Bich Thuy) - successful people in society, from here they enter the crossroads of life.
