On November 8, Mr. Dao My - Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee - said that along with mobilizing many forces to localities, especially the old Song Cau town area, to help people rebuild houses, repair rafts and boats, the province decided to provide initial support to communes and wards damaged by storm No. 13 (Kalmaegi).
Accordingly, the province added 35 billion VND from the provincial budget reserve to support 16 communes and wards that were severely affected.
This funding source is intended to help localities urgently repair infrastructure works, schools, medical stations, cultural houses, roads, irrigation systems, etc. damaged by storms and rains, and support people to stabilize production and life.
Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet requested all levels and sectors to focus on overcoming the consequences of the storm, visiting and supporting people who suffered losses. Mobilizing maximum forces of the army, police, militia and mass organizations to help people repair houses, clean up the environment and soon stabilize their lives.
The Provincial People's Committee was assigned to review, count the damage and use central and local resources to pay support before November 9, ensuring compliance with regulations, transparency, and avoiding negative incidents. The armed forces continued to coordinate with localities to overcome the consequences, helping people to soon stabilize their lives and restore production.
