Vietnam–Algeria sign Letter of Intent to promote trade agreement negotiations

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion of Algeria signed a Letter of Intent to promote research, evaluation and initiation of negotiations on a trade agreement between the two countries.

At noon on November 19 (local time, afternoon of the same day Hanoi time), during the official visit to Algeria, after talks, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Prime Minister of the Republic of Algeria Sifi Ghrieb witnessed the signing ceremony of cooperation documents between ministries, branches, agencies and units of the two countries.

These documents will contribute to creating a favorable framework for implementing specific projects in various fields, including:

Minutes of the 13th meeting of the Vietnam - Algeria Joint Committee on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation .

Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam and the Ministry of Housing, Urban and City Planning of Algeria in the field of housing, urban and city planning.

Annex to the Protocol on the comprehensive debt settlement between the two Governments.

Agreement on cooperation in the field of education between the two Governments.

Memorandum of Understanding between the Vietnam Confederation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACI).

Memorandum of Understanding between the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology and the Boumediene University of Science and Technology of Algeria.

Letter of Intent between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion of Algeria on coordination in research, assessment, and promotion of the initiation of negotiations on a trade agreement between the two countries.
