Vietnam and Brazil always accompany and cooperate despite being in two hemispheres.

"We believe that with the good results of this visit, the framework of the Vietnam-Brazil Comprehensive Partnership will continue to develop strongly, aiming to upgrade the framework and appropriate mechanisms in the coming time, meeting the wishes and interests of the people of our two countries, contributing to peace, cooperation and development in the two regions and the world," Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh shared with a large number of journalists from the two countries.

The Prime Minister expressed his honor to officially visit the beautiful country of Brazil - where the beloved President Ho Chi Minh of the Vietnamese people set foot in 1912 on his journey to find a way to save the country.

The Prime Minister said that in more than a century since then, the Vietnamese people have had to go through decades of war to gain national independence and protect the Fatherland, as President Ho Chi Minh said, "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom."

"That is also the indomitable spirit of the Brazilian people, expressed through the immortal declaration "Independence or Death" of Prince Pedro, your respected "Liberator", giving birth to lasting independence in Brazil. Perhaps it is this fundamental similarity between the two peoples that, despite being in two hemispheres, Vietnam and Brazil have always accompanied and cooperated for peace, cooperation and development," the Prime Minister shared.
