WTM London International Tourism Fair is the leading fair in the global tourism industry, bringing together tens of thousands of units, tourism businesses, airlines, hotel groups and national tourism management agencies.
With the opportunity and potential to promote bilateral relations within the framework of this prestigious event (from November 2-9), Vietnam will increase promotion and introduce typical tourism products, outstanding destinations along with open visa policies, convenient tourism infrastructure and air connections.
Accordingly, the Vietnam tourism booth is expected to be 204m2 wide, introducing Vietnam's unique and attractive destinations and tourism products through the following activities: Organizing promotions at the Vietnam tourism booth; reception programs, meeting businesses and many other exciting activities according to the fair program.
According to information from the National Tourism Administration, the UK in particular and Europe in general are key tourist markets for the country's tourism industry, with the characteristics of tourists having long stays, high spending levels, and loving to experience culture - heritage - nature.
Notably, Vietnam and the UK have now connected direct flights between major cities with a frequency of 60-70 flights/week; British citizens enjoy a 45-day visa exemption policy to enter Vietnam (according to Resolution 44/NQ-CP dated March 7, 2025); the number of British visitors to Vietnam is recording positive growth.
According to statistics in 2024, the number of British tourists to Vietnam will increase by 20.4%. Notably, in the past 9 months, Vietnam has welcomed 15.4 million international visitors, of which British visitors in particular increased by 22%. Along with the general recovery and growth of the European market, Vietnam's tourism industry leaders expect WTM London 2025 to open up many new cooperation opportunities with international partners, travel agencies and media.
Participation in WTM London 2025 is a key promotional activity in the strategy of expanding international markets, enhancing cooperation and trade in the tourism sector, contributing to diversifying international visitor sources and enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese tourism./.
