VietinBank donates 10 billion VND to support flood and storm recovery

On the morning of October 21, 2025, in Hanoi, VietinBank donated VND 10 billion to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) to support localities in overcoming heavy damage caused by storm No. 10 (Bualoi) and storm No. 11 (Matmo).

Attending the ceremony were: Mr. Do Van Chien - Member of the Politburo , Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee.

On VietinBank's side, there were: Mr. Tran Minh Binh - Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Le Duy Hai - Deputy General Director and Chairman of the Trade Union and representatives of departments, offices and units at VietinBank's Head Office...

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VietinBank Tran Minh Binh said: VietinBank always strives to fulfill its business tasks, maintain sustainable and effective growth. At the same time, VietinBank pays special attention to implementing social responsibilities, devoting large resources to social security activities, supporting the community, especially people in disaster areas.

The VND10 billion support activity is part of a comprehensive social security program that VietinBank will implement in 2025. VietinBank has spent hundreds of billions of VND to build houses for poor households, schools, medical stations, and educational centers; and at the same time, give Tet gifts, ambulances, and health insurance books to disadvantaged people across the country.
