Vietjet joins hands to rebuild lives after storms and floods

Việt NamViệt Nam15/09/2024

In the spirit of sharing with people in flood-hit areas, Vietjet Air Joint Stock Company has contributed 2 billion VND to the Tam Long Viet Fund of Vietnam Television.

This money will be coordinated with the People's Committee of Lao Cai province to reconstruct and rebuild houses for households severely damaged by storms and floods in Lang Nu village (Phuc Khanh commune, Bao Yen district) and Nam Tong village (Nam Luc commune, Bac Ha district).

The flash floods swept away everything, leveled houses and properties, and left deep wounds in the hearts of the people. To help people stabilize their lives soon, new houses will be built in safer planning areas. Not only providing shelter from the rain and sun, these houses will be the foundation for a new, more stable and peaceful future. In addition, ancillary works such as community centers and clean water supply systems will also be invested in to improve living conditions after the disaster.

The support from Vietjet is not only material but also brings faith and hope, helping people overcome difficulties and return to normal life. This is part of Vietjet's humanitarian activities, from free flights transporting relief goods to humane sharing actions of the staff.
