Vietjet self-serves ground, ready for year-end peak season

(Dan Tri) - During the peak season of the year-end Tet holiday, Tan Son Nhat airport is busy serving the travel needs of people and tourists at home and abroad. Vietjet Air has fully prepared its resources, ready for the peak season of the new year and traditional Tet.

At the airport with the largest passenger traffic in the country - Tan Son Nhat, passengers can see images of modern equipment in brilliant red and yellow Vietjet throughout the parking lot serving flights.

Since the end of April, Vietjet Ground Services Center (VJGS) has taken over ground services at Tan Son Nhat airport, from check-in procedures, passenger and baggage transportation services in the airport as well as other services in the airport... a next step in the journey to complete the aviation service chain.

With experience in implementing ground services at Noi Bai Airport, Hanoi since 2020 with IATA Ground Operations Quality Safety Standard Certification (ISAGO) from 2024, more than 1,000 personnel have been prepared by Vietjet to serve the transfer of operations at Tan Son Nhat.

In addition, Vietjet has invested in a synchronous system of ground equipment to ensure smooth service for flights. Up to now, Vietjet has self-serviced all domestic and international flights to and from Tan Son Nhat airport, helping to improve punctuality index.

The airline has also reviewed and updated the operational procedures, coordination between relevant departments at the airport, take-off and landing routes, baggage routes, etc. to suit the rapidly increasing passenger traffic, ensuring absolute safety for flights and passengers.
