After the success of the Fashion Voyage fashion show, which brought the catwalk to unique or iconic architectural works in Vietnam, director Long Kan returned with a new catwalk called Vietnam Couture Fashion Week.

Vietnamese tailor-made fashion speaks for itself

Vietnam Couture Fashion Week is one of the first tailoring shows in Vietnam, celebrating the spirit of craftsmanship, personalization and sophistication in tailoring.

Director Long Kan said it took him 2 years to conceive and come up with the idea to launch Vietnam Couture Fashion Week . He said this is the time for Vietnamese couture to speak up.

In addition to the performance element, Vietnam Couture Fashion Week also focuses on the value of original tailor-made fashion through the show.

"Couture is not just about designing and tailoring clothes for special occasions, but is the crystallization of experience, technique and unique emotions.

Couture also represents identity and cultural quintessence when creativity from materials and traditional handicrafts is woven with perseverance and meticulousness. Tailored fashion has its own place in the fashion world" - director Long Kan emphasized.

Honoring the unique mark of each designer

The first season of Vietnam Couture Fashion Week with the message "When Love Walks the Runway" has 15 Vietnamese designers and brands participating in the show.

They are designers Chung Thanh Phong, Le Ngoc Lam, Vu Viet Ha, Truong Thanh Hai, Joli Poli...

When organizing the Fashion Voyage show, Long Kan's biggest challenge was the terrain and weather... As for Vietnam Couture Fashion Week , Long Kan's biggest problem was creating a harmonious stage that honored the unique mark of each designer.

Therefore, director Long Kan spends a lot of time talking privately with each team to listen to the story behind each design, the creative inspiration, and the spirit of each collection to highlight the details that create highlights.

The special feature of Vietnam Couture Fashion Week is the Ao Dai fashion show. These designs are sewn and embroidered from natural materials, meticulously woven, expressing the elegant spirit of Vietnamese women.

Vietnam Couture Fashion Week will take place on May 26, at White Palace Pham Van Dong (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City). This is an activity within the framework of Vietnam Wedding Fest .
