Vinfast launches Evo Grand electric motorbike with 2 removable batteries, traveling up to 262 km/charge

VinFast has just officially launched a new line of smart electric motorbikes with 2 versions Evo Grand and Evo Grand Lite, possessing a fashionable, elegant design and supporting up to 2 removable 2.4kW batteries, helping to bring flexibility, convenience in use and increasing the total distance traveled after each full charge to 262 km. With a selling price from only 18 million VND, VinFast's new electric motorbike line is the ideal choice for users' green conversion journey, meeting all daily travel needs.

VinFast Evo Grand and Evo Grand Lite are designed to become a new symbol of a modern, civilized and dynamic lifestyle. The car's design has rounded, seamless lines from the body to the tail, creating a sense of elegance and luxury, while optimizing aerodynamics.

To meet the diverse needs, styles and personal preferences of customers, VinFast will provide Evo Grand and Evo Grand Lite with a total of 9 color options, including colors appearing for the first time on the electric motorbike market such as Olive Green, Sand Yellow...

The vehicle has dimensions of Length x Width x Height of 1,856 x 683 x 1,133 (mm), wheelbase of 1,295 mm. Ground clearance of 133 mm helps the vehicle move conveniently on bumpy terrain or when going up and down the sidewalk. The saddle is 770 mm high, ergonomically designed to suit the physique of Vietnamese people.

The Evo Grand version has an empty weight of 92 kg (increased to 110 kg when installing 2 batteries), making it easy for users to control and maneuver in narrow spaces. In particular, the Evo Grand Lite version weighs only 82 kg (increased to 100 kg when installing 2 batteries), ideal for users looking for a compact, flexible and easy-to-use vehicle.

In terms of performance, the VinFast Evo Grand is equipped with an in-hub motor located at the rear wheel, with a maximum capacity of 2,250W, allowing the vehicle to reach a maximum speed of 70 km/h. Meanwhile, the Evo Grand Lite version has a maximum capacity of 1,900W, with an electronically limited speed of 48 km/h, suitable for students or customers who do not have a driver's license.

The battery that comes with the Evo Grand has a capacity of 2.4 kWh, allowing for a distance of up to 134 km under standard conditions after each full charge. Customers can purchase an additional battery with the same capacity to increase the total distance to 262 km/charge. In particular, the second battery can be easily removed for external charging, providing users with convenience and flexibility during use.

Meanwhile, the Evo Grand Lite version is supplied with a 1.2 kWh battery pack, allowing the car to travel 70 km after each full charge. Customers can also buy an additional 2.4 kWh battery pack to equip the car, thereby increasing the total distance traveled to a maximum of 198 km after each full charge.

In addition to impressive performance, Evo Grand and Evo Grand Lite both meet IP67 waterproof standards, helping the vehicle easily overcome flooded roads safely and stably.

The vehicle is equipped with front disc brakes and rear mechanical brakes, ensuring maximum safety for the user.

In addition, the trunk capacity of up to 35 liters helps VinFast Evo Grand and Evo Grand Lite become the motorbike models with the largest storage space on the market.

Featuring smart electric motorbikes, VinFast Evo Grand and Evo Grand Lite support remote connection and management via the VinFast e-Scooter application, with functions such as vehicle positioning, automatic error diagnosis, vehicle status display, etc., thereby enhancing the experience and peace of mind for users.

VinFast will officially accept deposits for Evo Grand and Evo Grand Lite from July 24, 2025 at authorized electric motorbike dealers nationwide. The prices for Evo Grand and Evo Grand Lite are 21 million and 18 million VND respectively. The price for the second battery pack is 5 million VND.

The VinFast Evo Grand and Evo Grand Lite duo will be displayed for the first time at the VinFast Xanh Fest Icon event on July 26-27, 2025 at Saigon Riverside Park (HCMC). After that, the cars will continue to be displayed at the "Green Festival: Collect gasoline cars - Upgrade to green cars" taking place from July 29, 2025 at Vinhomes Global Gate Urban Area (Dong Anh, Hanoi ) and from July 30, 2025 at Vinhomes Grand Park (Long Binh, HCMC).

The first Evo Grand and Evo Grand Lite cars are expected to be delivered to customers in September 2025.

In order to support customers in the capital to switch from gasoline vehicles to electric vehicles in accordance with the Prime Minister 's Directive 20/CT-TTg, all customers with permanent or temporary residence in Hanoi who buy Evo Grand, Evo Grand Lite and other VinFast electric motorbikes will have the opportunity to receive the vehicle immediately with 0 VND of initial counterpart capital.

Specifically, drivers who buy cars through GSM and register to operate on the Green SM Platform will receive 10% of the car price from VinFast, the remaining 90% can be paid in installments through Shinhan Finance and Lotte Finance within a maximum of 3 years under the guarantee of GSM.

For customers buying cars for other personal needs, VinFast will immediately give 10% of the car price, customers only need to pay 10% of the car price in advance, the remaining 80% can be paid in installments through Shinhan Finance and Lotte Finance within a maximum of 3 years.

In addition, from July 24 to October 24, 2025, VinFast will also give customers with permanent or temporary residence in Hanoi 100% of the registration fee when buying VinFast electric motorbikes.
