Specifically, VIRESA, FPT Online and Funtap agreed to coordinate regularly and long-term in strategic consulting activities, building and developing the entertainment e-sports community in Vietnam to promote the comprehensive and systematic development of the domestic e-sports sector.
Vietnam Entertainment E- Sports Association (VIRESA), FPT Online Services Joint Stock Company (FPT Online) and Funtap Joint Stock Company signed a cooperation agreement.
The cooperation agreement is expected to help promote the search and cooperation with capable and reputable units in the field of games and e-sports. From there, it will create conditions to bring international e-sports game products to Vietnam to develop common work as well as introduce, promote, develop business products, services... and combine resources to develop playgrounds and competition platforms to support e-sports operations in Vietnam.
In particular, for MLBB, the three parties will prepare the best conditions to support national teams during training and competition in regional and international tournaments such as SEA Games, ASIAD and Asian Esports Games (AEG).
This cooperation agreement is a particularly meaningful event in promoting the culture and community of e-sports in Vietnam as well as building positive awareness of e-sports as a professional and healthy entertainment field in the community. At the same time, the agreement aims to bring the largest international e-sports tournaments to Vietnam. This is an opportunity for Vietnam to become a center for organizing leading e-sports events in the region, helping to raise the country's position on the global e-sports map.

Mr. Do Viet Hung, Chairman of VIRESA, assessed that Vietnamese athletes all possess the potential and ability to develop enough to compete with international athletes. However, at present, athletes still need time to narrow the gap in level.
"SEA Games 33 is one of the important goals in 2025. At the largest regional sports event, with the MLBB team, we aim to be in the leading group, top 4 and strive to win medals" - Mr. Do Viet Hung shared.
Within the framework of the event, the Organizing Committee also announced the cooperation between the game MLBB and brand ambassador streamer Do Mixi (Phung Thanh Do). For his part, streamer Do Mixi expressed his hope: "With the cooperation between MLBB, MLBB will develop more strongly and bring achievements to Vietnam in the international arena".

In addition, VIRESA representative also affirmed that this will be an important milestone opening up new opportunities for the country's e-sports industry in the future, thereby attracting the participation of prestigious domestic and international e-sports organizations to contribute to the development of the e-sports industry in Vietnam.
By the end of 2024, Vietnamese e-sports has recorded many successes in terms of building playgrounds, competition platforms, ecosystems as well as achievements in regional and international arenas. Moving towards 2025, VIRESA and its partners hope to continue to promote development momentum, while expanding international exchange opportunities to create opportunities for Vietnamese teams, athletes and content developers to access professional competition environments, contributing to improving the quality of human resources in the domestic e-sports industry, focusing on developing national teams for e-sports including MLBB.
