VN-Index decreased more than 2 points, foreign investors sold VCB heavily

In this session, stocks that had a positive impact on the VN-Index included: LPB, FPT, TCB, PNJ with an increase of more than 2.2 points. On the contrary, stocks: VIC, VCB, BID, GAS were sold heavily and took away more than 3.5 points from the VN-Index.

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session decreased sharply compared to the previous session, reaching more than 15,862.29 billion VND.

Foreign investors net sold approximately VND88 billion on the HoSE in this session. On the buying side, FPT shares were bought the most with a value of more than VND70 billion, followed by MBB (VND64 billion), HPG (VND62 billion), PNJ (VND61 billion)... On the contrary, VCB was sold the most (VND184 billion), followed by VHM (VND134 billion), NVL (VND90 billion), SSI (VND67 billion)...

Today's session, the VN30 group of stocks closed with 8 stocks increasing, 7 stocks remaining unchanged and 15 stocks decreasing.

Of which, LPB increased 4.39% to 34,500 VND/share, FPT increased 1.49%.

Codes: GVR, MWG, SAB, STB, TCB, VNM increased slightly.

Seven codes stopped at reference: ACB, SHB, SSB, TPB, VHM, VPB, VRE.

On the other hand, VIC decreased by 2.55% to VND76,500/share, PLX decreased by 1.54%, BVH decreased by 1.43%.

The remaining codes: BCM, BID, CTG, GAS, HDB, HPG, MBB, MSN, SSI, VCB, VIB, VJC decreased slightly.

In terms of industry groups, steel stocks closed in the green. Of which, POM increased by 7.14%, SMC increased by 6.89%, HMC increased by 2.52%, HSG increased by 1.02%, VCA increased slightly. On the contrary, DTL decreased by 4.09%, HPG, NKG, TLH decreased slightly.

The group of securities stocks mainly fluctuated within a narrow range, closing the session down 0.67%. Of which, VDS decreased by 1.71%, VCI decreased by 1.36%, BSI decreased by 1.3%, FTS decreased by 1.29%, HCM decreased by 1.15%, AGR, CTS, DSE, ORS, SSI, TVB, TVS decreased slightly. On the contrary, APG, VIX, VND increased slightly, TCI stopped at the reference.

Similarly, the banking stocks group closed in light red, down 0.06%. In addition to the codes: ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, LPB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, other codes such as: EIB, MSB decreased slightly, OCB, NAB increased slightly.

Real estate stocks closed down 0.97%. Besides the aforementioned VIC, CKG fell 2.9%, NTL fell 2.6%, NVL fell 2.38%, TCH fell 2.75%, VRC fell 2.36%... On the other hand, some stocks unexpectedly broke out and increased sharply such as: ITC, QCG, TN1 hit the ceiling, LHG increased 3.14%.

Besides, other industry groups such as: insurance decreased by 1.07%, transportation, raw materials, utilities, and energy decreased slightly.

On the other hand, software increased by 1.42%, capital goods, food-beverages and tobacco, distribution and retail of durable goods, consumer goods and decoration, telecommunications, and health care increased slightly.

* The Vietnamese stock market index fluctuated today, VNXALL-Index closed up 2.55 points (+0.12%), at 2,088.84 points. Liquidity with trading volume reached 746.03 million units, equivalent to trading value of VND 16,991.21 billion. In the whole market, there were 158 stocks increasing in price, 89 stocks remaining unchanged and 216 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 214.13 points, down 1.08% (-0.50%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 59.83 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND827.83 billion. The entire floor had 70 stocks increasing, 59 stocks remaining unchanged and 99 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed down 3.15 points (-0.74%) to 422.57 points. Trading volume reached about 29.72 million units, with a corresponding value of more than VND561.78 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 7 stocks increasing, 6 stocks remaining unchanged and 17 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index increased, closing at 93.58 points, up 0.60 points (+0.65%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 43.00 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than 391.46 billion VND. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 181 stocks increasing, 133 stocks remaining unchanged and 120 stocks decreasing.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed down 2.5 points (-0.2%) to 1,267.3 points. Liquidity reached over 746.66 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND17,061.25 billion. The entire floor had 136 stocks increasing, 58 stocks remaining unchanged and 174 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 1.15 points (+0.09%) to 1,352.25 points. Liquidity reached more than 293.84 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND8,636.26 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 8 stocks increasing, 7 stocks remaining unchanged and 15 stocks decreasing.
