The fire originated from Hua Hong Vietnam Technology Development Co., Ltd. Because this company specializes in processing, spraying paint, and dyeing plastic, the fire spread quickly.

Previously, at around 8:40 p.m. on June 2, the fire started at the factory of Hua Hong Vietnam Technology Development Co., Ltd. The fire spread quickly because the factory contained many flammable items (photo collected)

Hot weather and strong winds caused the fire to spread to the following companies: Tong Hao Vietnam Plastic Co., Ltd., New Life Corporation, Vinamek Electromechanical Corporation and Thien Loi Embroidery Co., Ltd. The house of Mr. Nguyen Van Minh's family also suffered heavy damage due to the large fire and smoke.

Some people around the scene said that before the fire broke out, there was a loud explosion at Hua Hong Technology Development Co., Ltd. After that, workers working the night shift at Tong Hao Vietnam Plastic Co., Ltd. shouted to each other to run out to Provincial Road 391 to avoid the accident.

Many assets of Vinamek Electromechanical Joint Stock Company were severely damaged by fire.

Due to strong winds, the fire spread rapidly in just 15 minutes and engulfed many surrounding factories, causing major property damage. Some residents actively supported businesses and workers in moving equipment and furniture out.

The house of Mr. Nguyen Van Minh's family in Hung Dao commune (Tu Ky) was severely damaged by fire and smoke.

After receiving the news, Hai Duong Provincial Police mobilized fire prevention and fighting and rescue forces to the scene to put out the fire. The fire occurred on an area of about 1,200 m², the workshops contained many flammable items, so fire fighting was difficult.

Many people came to watch the incident from early morning on June 3.

By around 5am on June 3, the fire was basically under control. However, at 7am, the fire continued to flare up at the factory of Tong Hao Vietnam Plastic Co., Ltd., accompanied by a column of black smoke rising high.
