Regarding the case of a large quantity of functional foods being dumped on the roadside, on June 9, Ho Chi Minh City Police coordinated with Phong Phu Commune Police, Binh Chanh District to take statements from the person transporting these products.
According to the results of camera footage on the roads, the police identified the driver of the three-wheeled vehicle transporting the evidence to locations along Nguyen Van Linh Street.
When invited to work, this person declared that he was hired by someone else to transport the above Western medicine and dietary supplements to be disposed of and had received payment.
Currently, the police are coordinating with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health and related agencies to continue to clarify and invite the owners of the drug and dietary supplement evidence to come to work.


Previously, people discovered thousands of packets of dietary supplements mixed with Western medicine dumped on an empty lot along Nguyen Van Linh Street, passing through Phong Phu Commune, Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the information on the box, these dietary supplements are manufactured by MEDIUSA Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Phu Nghia Industrial Park, Chuong My District, Hanoi ); the traders responsible for the products are MEDIUSA Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Dai Kim Ward, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi), MEDIPHAR Joint Venture Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Phu Nghia Industrial Park, Chuong My District, Hanoi).
The target users of the products include children, people with physical weakness, pregnant women, breastfeeding women, etc. Most of the above products have an expiry date until 2027 or 2028.
