Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Vu Thang Loi said that currently the tickets for the concert have been sold out, he does not do business in the concert so he does not focus on money and shows.
"It's true that at this time, tickets for concerts are harder to sell than in previous years. I don't have a big sponsor, so I sell all my tickets by hand. There are a few places that buy tickets, but they're just friends taking tickets and supporting each other. Over the past year, I've been performing and saving a little bit, so with my passion for the job, I'm willing to accept the loss or profit," he said.
Vu Thang Loi added that the program's crew is preparing to rehearse for the music night. Vu Thang Loi will personally select the songs, edit the music for the program, and send his ideas so that the list of more than 20 works all carry the sound of the homeland that has been with us for many years, attached to the memories of many generations.
The male singer said he does shows to overcome himself, so that after each show he can draw experiences for the next show.
The thing Vu Thang Loi worries about the most in the upcoming music night is his health. "Doing a music night is not simple, you have to be in good health to be able to handle everything. You have to be healthy to be able to do many things in the music night, to avoid overlapping colors," he said.
A reporter asked Vu Thang Loi: "Have you ever wanted to step out of your comfort zone and try another genre of music?". The male singer said: "I cannot sing a genre that is not mine to attract audiences. The difficult problem is how to bring my voice and my music to young audiences. I am still looking for ways to renew myself."
The male singer confided that he is lucky to have a wife who understands and supports all of his decisions. His wife is also the one who encourages him to do shows.
"She is the one who doesn't care about how much money I earn. She is always afraid that I can't do anything. The upcoming show is my wife's investment, but she doesn't ask how much money I have to bring home. I balance everything myself," Vu Thang Loi said about his wife.
Vu Thang Loi added that his wife does business so it is quite difficult, in his free time, he also supports his wife a lot.
"My wife runs a supermarket, and I help her. In the early days of starting a business, I still went to get goods for my wife at 4-5am. I came from a difficult life and did many jobs. In high school, I worked at a coffee shop and sold ice. Later, I sang at weddings, adjusted sound systems, and sold phones, so I didn't mind doing anything," Vu Thang Loi recounted.
The male singer born in 1985 said that although his husband is an artist, his wife is not a jealous person. In the family, he is a person who knows how to be gentle and firm, so the two of them are not "out of sync" in the way they raise their children.
