Happy Children's Day June 1st for children in special and difficult circumstances

On May 28, the Center for Social Work and the Provincial Children's Fund in collaboration with the Provincial General Hospital organized the Children's Day program on June 1 for children in special and difficult circumstances who are being treated at the Provincial General Hospital and children who are managed, cared for and raised at the Center for Social Work and the Provincial Children's Fund. Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Provincial Children's Fund.

Comrade Nguyen Van Toan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of the Department of Health presented gifts to children being managed, cared for and raised at the Social Work Center and the Provincial Children's Support Fund.

Leaders of the Department of Social Policy (Department of Health), Provincial General Hospital, Social Work Center and Provincial Children's Fund presented gifts to children being treated at the Provincial General Hospital.

Speaking at the program, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that children are the future generation of the country. Over the years, the Party Committees, authorities, departments, branches and organizations in the province have always paid special attention to children. He acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the staff, doctors and nurses of the Provincial General Hospital, officials of the Social Work Center and the Provincial Children's Support Fund who have devoted themselves to caring for, nurturing and treating sick children and orphans, helping them overcome difficulties and have confidence in life.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also sent his best wishes to the children being treated at the hospital for a speedy recovery and good health so they can return to their families. He wished them a happy and safe Children's Day and summer vacation, and continued to strive to be good and study well...

At the program, the Organizing Committee presented 48 cash gifts, each worth 500,000 VND to 48 children, including 18 children managed, cared for and raised at the Social Work Center and the Provincial Children's Support Fund; 30 children with difficult circumstances being treated at the Provincial General Hospital. In addition, children participating in the program received additional meaningful gifts, contributing to a warm and joyful Children's Day.
