Thanh Tri Commune: Medical examination, health consultation, medicine provision for 273 policy beneficiaries

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 24, Thanh Tri Commune People's Committee coordinated with Thanh Tri General Hospital to provide medical examination, health consultation, and free medicine for policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions.

This is an annual activity with profound humanistic meaning, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the local Party Committee, government and people.

At the program, Chairman of Thanh Tri Commune People's Committee La Van Huy said that the program of health examination and care for people with meritorious services is one of the practical activities, showing the deep gratitude of the Party Committee, government and people of Thanh Tri Commune for the great contributions and sacrifices of generations of fathers and brothers in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland.

Here, 273 war invalids, sick soldiers, martyrs' relatives, and people with revolutionary contributions in the commune were fully examined by doctors of Thanh Tri General Hospital with general examinations, ultrasound, blood tests, electrocardiograms, health consultations, electronic health management records, and especially free medicine.

Director of Thanh Tri General Hospital Ho Quang Tuan expressed that, with the responsibility of those working in the medical profession, taking care of the health of those with meritorious services is a great honor. Thanh Tri General Hospital wishes to make a small contribution to the care and gratitude of previous generations. The hospital will continue to accompany local authorities in similar activities.

In addition to medical examination and medicine, this is also an opportunity for wounded soldiers to meet, visit each other, share heroic memories and encourage each other to live happily, healthily and usefully.
