Verifying the suspected case of using fake diplomas to illegally advertise beauty products online

On April 23, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health said it was verifying a suspected case of using a fake diploma to illegally advertise beauty services on social networks.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, following the press's reflection on the case of using fake diplomas of an account named Yuki posted on social networks, on April 18, 2025, the Department of Health Inspectorate coordinated with the District 3 Health Department and Ward 5 Police, District 3 to inspect Iris Premium HDC Company Limited at 414 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Ward 5, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, with Mr. TMN as Director.

Through inspection and verification, it was found that Ms. D.TPT is the Chairman of Iris Premium Company Limited at 414 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Ward 5, District 3.

At this address, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health previously granted a license to operate a medical examination and treatment clinic in the form of a Dermatology clinic. Currently, this clinic has stopped operating because Iris Premium Company Limited has dissolved.

When asked about the diploma suspected to be fake as reported by newspaper and radio reporters, Ms. D.TPT said she used two accounts named D.PT and Yuki, and denied that the image of the diploma on social media that she introduced herself as was not the image of the fake diploma issued by Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy as reported.

Regarding the image of the Nursing College diploma with the name of Ms. D.TPT, which is suspected to be a fake diploma, through searching information on the website: https://sv.ump.edu.vn/tra-cuu-van-bang.html of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, it shows that the name D.TPT is not on it.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health sent a document to the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy requesting support in verifying Ms. D.TPT's diploma. Once it is determined that this is a fake diploma, the Department of Health will transfer the information to the Ho Chi Minh City Police to coordinate the investigation and handle it according to the law.

Through the inspection, the HCM City Department of Health Inspectorate will immediately strictly handle the illegal advertising in the medical field against Iris Premium HDC Company Limited and Ms. D.TPT.

In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health has temporarily suspended the process of granting a License to operate a Dermatology clinic of this facility until the case is resolved (Iris Premium HDC Company Limited is in the process of applying for a License to operate a Dermatology clinic at the Department of Health).
