(PLVN) - The 15th Binh Dinh Province Coastal Culture and Sports Festival in 2025 will be held from May 30 to May 31, 2025, in Tuy Phuoc district, Binh Dinh province.

The Cultural - Sports Festival of Binh Dinh coastal areas is an opportunity for fishermen in coastal districts, towns and cities to meet, exchange, learn and share experiences in labor and production; at the same time, encourage and motivate the whole people to carry out well the movements "All people unite to build a cultural life", "All people participate in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security". Thereby contributing to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values ​​typical of coastal residents of Binh Dinh, meeting the needs of cultural enjoyment and creation of the people.

According to information from the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province, the Festival will take place on May 30-31, 2025, in Phuoc Son commune, Tuy Phuoc district, Binh Dinh province with the participation of artisans, actors, athletes from Tuy Phuoc, Phu Cat, Phu My districts, Hoai Nhon town, Quy Nhon city and the Border Guard of Binh Dinh province.

In addition, within the framework of the Festival, there will be many unique cultural and sports activities such as: Beauty Contest; Art Competition with the theme "Homeland Sea and Islands"; Beauty Contest of the Sea: Men's boat racing; Free swimming (men, women) and Tug of war for men and women...

In addition, participating units will also prepare 02 culinary specialties (01 food and 01 drink) of their locality, and briefly introduce and promote the display idea, content, and meaning of each dish and drink.

To prepare for the Festival, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to develop a detailed scenario, issue notices and regulations for organizing cultural activities and sports competitions during the Festival; provide equipment, tools and means to organize cultural and sports activities as well as direct the Provincial Museum to organize the photo exhibition "Binh Dinh - Cultural heritage associated with sea tourism".

The Provincial Police force presided over and coordinated with the Provincial Border Guard Command to ensure safety for delegates attending the opening and closing ceremonies of the Festival; ensure security and order, traffic safety, and fire and explosion prevention at the venues where the Festival activities were held.

The People's Committee of Binh Dinh province requested the Department of Health to direct the Tuy Phuoc District Medical Center to organize inspections and ensure food safety during the Festival; arrange medical teams to provide emergency care at cultural and sports activities, and guide the implementation of disease prevention and control measures at the Festival's activities.

Tuy Phuoc District People's Committee is responsible for directing visual propaganda work in the district and propaganda on local mass media; mobilizing cadres and people to attend and cheer on the Festival, especially directing relevant units of the district to arrange forces to ensure security and order; traffic safety; preventive medicine, food safety and hygiene, environmental sanitation; providing clean water and 3-phase electricity for daily life of units.
