The expert team also supports the content and specific survey locations to ensure effectiveness, focus, and key points during the implementation process.
Next, experts and members of the survey team will research and compile a list of documents and artifacts to be displayed at the Truong Sa Museum; conduct investigations and surveys at locations in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, and Da Nang .
From the results of the investigation and survey, the authorities will make a list of documents and artifacts of the units related to the display, coordinate with experts and the advisory council to organize the classification of necessary documents and artifacts for display at the Truong Sa Museum.
According to the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, the content of the Truong Sa Museum's exhibition contributes to promoting and introducing Vietnam's sovereignty over the Truong Sa archipelago, providing visitors with official and objective information about the geological history, geomorphology, and evolution of coral reefs during the formation of the Truong Sa archipelago.
Truong Sa Museum will be built next to Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial Area
The Truong Sa Museum will be built on a 1.71-hectare plot of land adjacent to the Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial (Cam Lam District). The construction cost will be sponsored by a private enterprise.
When completed, the Truong Sa Museum will be integrated with the Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial. Construction is expected to begin in late 2024.
The inspiration for the museum design comes from the Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial Area, where the underground space with 64 sea hibiscus flowers symbolizes the soldiers who sacrificed for the Fatherland, the overall architectural shape of the Truong Sa Museum with 3 branches reaching out to the East Sea.
