In recent times, Vietnam has made efforts to perfect the legal framework to promote digital transformation such as: Amending the Law on Electronic Transactions, amending and supplementing the Law on Radio Frequencies, amending the Law on Telecommunications, issuing the National Strategy for Digital Economy and Digital Society Development to 2025, with a vision to 2030, the National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with a vision to 2030, the Strategy for E-Government Development towards Digital Government for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030... These are important legal documents to promote the development of the national digital ecosystem.
National Assembly Delegate (NA) Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh (NA Delegation of Vinh Long Province) said: Building and promoting the development of national digital platforms allows for data sharing, cooperation and innovation, promoting the digital transformation process. This is a characteristic of Vietnam in implementing the national digital transformation program in a comprehensive and nationwide manner. By 2025, Vietnam aims to have 35 national digital platforms in important areas such as education, health, agriculture, transportation, finance, etc., providing effective and accessible services to the Vietnamese people.

From 2022, Vietnam will deploy Community Digital Technology Teams nationwide with the core being young people, with the goal of "going to every alley, knocking on every door, guiding every citizen to use digital platforms", focusing on 5 basic digital skills: Using online public services; Online shopping; Online payment; Self-protection in cyberspace; Using other digital platforms depending on local characteristics.
Also according to National Assembly Delegate Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh, up to now, 63/63 provinces and cities have established Community Digital Technology Teams in each village, residential group, residential area, hamlet, and residential hamlet, of which 52/63 provinces and cities have completed 100% to the commune level.
In recent times, Vietnam has established a legal framework on information security and is gradually improving it to suit the new situation, such as: Law on Information Security, Law on Cyber Security, Decree of the Vietnamese Government stipulating national sovereignty in cyberspace. In addition to building institutions and legal frameworks, Vietnam advocates developing an ecosystem of "Make in Vietnam" information security products and services, mastering new technologies to ensure information security. Building a 4-layer model from central to local levels to ensure that information systems are protected, monitored, inspected and periodically evaluated. At the same time, organizing training to raise awareness among people, creating trust in the digital environment, forming a digital culture associated with protecting traditional Vietnamese cultural and ethical values.
The Vietnamese National Assembly is making efforts to promote digital transformation towards the goal of building an e-National Assembly and is highly appreciated by National Assembly deputies, voters, and public opinion. The initial results of the digital transformation of the Vietnamese National Assembly in recent times continue to lay a solid foundation for continued innovation in the way the National Assembly operates in the digital age.
National Assembly Deputy Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh emphasized that in the coming time, Vietnam hopes to learn valuable experiences from other countries in implementing digital transformation to actively contribute to the country's development process, helping to achieve sustainable development goals faster and more breakthroughly.
