New rural construction in the education sector

In the third quarter of 2025, the Department of Education and Training will implement the National Target Program on New Rural Development in the Education sector. * Could you tell us what content the Department of Education and Training will implement when implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in theEducation sector?

- Implementing Decision 263, dated February 22, 2022 of the Prime Minister approving the National Target Program on New Rural Development for the period 2021-2025, in the third quarter of 2025, the Department of Education and Training will implement 3 contents. Firstly, the Department of Education and Training will coordinate with the People's Committees of communes, towns, and vocational training institutions to conduct surveys and surveys on vocational training needs for rural workers in localities and labor needs of production and business establishments in the province; determine the list of training occupations for rural workers to adjust and supplement the list of training occupations, develop training plans, orientation, and vocational training counseling for workers in accordance with the actual situation of the locality. Secondly, the Education sector will organize training to standardize professional expertise and knowledge to ensure the quality of vocational education managers and teachers in vocational education institutions. Third, the Education sector will inspect and monitor the program in localities in the province.

* What is the purpose of implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in the Education sector, Madam?

- Implement the National Target Program on New Rural Development in the Education sector with the aim of improving the quality and effectiveness of vocational training to create jobs, change jobs, increase income and improve the quality of life for rural workers, contributing to the shift in labor structure, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization of agriculture and rural areas; at the same time, improving the quality of the team of managers and vocational education teachers to meet the requirements of local socio-economic development, adapting to the changes of the 4.0 industrial revolution and integrating into the labor market in the ASEAN region and internationally. The Education sector clearly defines the content and responsibilities of the unit in organizing the implementation of the Party's policies, the State's policies and laws related to vocational training; creating consensus among all levels, sectors and the People in implementing activities to develop vocational education and create jobs for workers. In addition, the Education sector will also effectively implement the work of supporting job creation for workers to create conditions for workers to have stable jobs, contributing to improving their material and spiritual life and developing the local socio-economy.

* To achieve the above goal, how does the Education sector plan to implement it, madam?

- The Education sector will link vocational training for rural workers with the employment program under the province's National Target Program on New Rural Development. The Department of Education and Training also identifies the vocational training needs of rural workers according to each occupation and level, especially the vocational training needs of poor farmers. The Department of Education and Training also identifies the current state of human resources in the province, as a basis for developing a strategy for developing human resources directly involved in production, business, and services to serve the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country and gradually shifting the structure of agricultural, rural, and farmer labor towards industry - services and modern agriculture. In addition, the Department of Education and Training will also help managers and vocational educators access new programs to improve the standardization of skills for teachers in vocational education institutions; strengthen the connection between theory and practice in teaching...
