The project is built on an area of nearly 9 hectares in Binh Thuy District, Can Tho City. The commercial center will be built with a total floor area of over 195,000 m2 (excluding two basements), the largest in the West, and will be implemented in two phases. Phase 1 includes the first commercial center with a floor area of nearly 114,000 m2, expected to be completed within 36 months of construction. Phase 2 includes the second commercial center and a parking building with a floor area of over 81,000 m2.

Ms. Tran Thi Lam - Founding Chairwoman of Hoa Lam Group said that with its outstanding scale, Aeon Mall Can Tho promises to become a new symbol of modern, international-class trade and services in the West.

Aeon Mall Can Tho is the second project in the strategic cooperation series between Hoa Lam Group and Aeon Mall Vietnam, following the success of Aeon Mall Binh Tan, Ho Chi Minh City.

Can Tho City is expected to merge with Hau Giang and Soc Trang provinces under the name Can Tho City, with an area of over 6,400 km2, a population of over 4 million people; there are 103 basic administrative units (31 wards and 72 communes). The political and administrative center is located in Can Tho City today. The new Can Tho City is expected to grow over 8% in 2025.
