New trends and solutions in refractive error treatment in 2025

On May 31, 2025, DND Brothers International Healthcare System organized a scientific seminar with the theme "Update the latest advances in the world in 2025 in the control and treatment of refractive errors applied at DND Eye Hospital System".

Doctor Pham Thi Hang presented a report on the topic: "Comprehensive corneal examination before refractive surgery".

The workshop content revolved around key topics such as comprehensive corneal examination before refractive surgery, early detection and treatment of fundus lesions in myopic patients, updating refractive surgery technology, optimal solutions for refractive treatment in presbyopic patients, and evaluating the results of Phakic surgery on patients with high myopia and astigmatism.

Refractive surgery is a key area of DND International Eye Hospital. In particular, comprehensive pre-operative corneal examination is considered an important foundation to ensure optimal accuracy and safety for each surgery.

A thorough assessment of the corneal structure helps to select the appropriate method, thereby increasing the success rate and minimizing complications.
